Massey College, University of Toronto.
Sundays @ 8:00PM, 2016.
Wanting to take yoga into the city's most beautiful spaces, Lisa teaches a weekly class to graduate university students at Massey College, acclaimed as one of the country's most iconic jewels of modern architecture. Designed by legendary architect Ron Thom and opened in 1963, the college combines a series of five inter-connected buildings around a treed quadrangle graced by pools of water and planted with crabapple, red oak and linden trees. Lisa also led a yoga warm-up at Massey for the Scholars at Risk run to raise funds to bring scholars from countries in crisis so they may continue their academic studies. An awesome group of fit young people with big brains and warm hearts.
